Anyone seen a threaded gas cap with ears?

When i worked at ups they used a cap a cap like number 2 shows. I think it was made by velvac and it was bronse.

That's what I was thinking too. I replaced more than a few of those in my time there.

Here is a picture of the one I think you were looking for - "mickey-ears" - and I believe was an early Buick gas cap that just happened to fit the A radiator and became such...

I'm sure I picked this up for under $5 at some flea, but if you really want one there is one on e-bay - search for "vintage gas cap radiator ornament 1910" and it should top the list. I have no interest or knowledge of the seller of this item - just tripped across it.
