Anyone making repro '35 16" wheels?

Hi all,

I'm thinking of putting 16" wheels on my daily driver A, but am having the devil of a time finding a set of four matching, dent-less, straight wheels. Usually google is my friend, but in this case I'm coming up empty. Does anyone know of a source of these (besides flea-bay)? Reproduction wheels would be fine.

For what a repro would cost, if they make them, you could probably buy a good set of bent spoke Kelsey's.

check out AllFord in Los Gatos or put a wanted ad on their board. They have 2 swap meets a year, usually one in April, and there are always 16's there. You can also ask around at SCVC or post a want ad in their newsletter or check with the local V8 chapter.

Wheelsmith makes repop 16 inch wires, but they are designed to fit modern radial tires, hence they have a wider rim. Somewhat less original looking, but probably a better fit for modern rubber. check them out
