Anyone know of a chrome paint

My windshield frame has near perfect chrome except for 2 places, about the size of a BB, that have flaked off. I would like to just put a touch of chrome paint there instead of having the whole thing replated. Has anyone found a spray can of paint that looks like chrome.

I haven't used this service, but am aware of a company in Kansas City that provides a liquid chrome process. Do not know if they sell a spray can or not...

All the rattle can "chrome" paints do not equal chrome but with a blemish so small a small amount on a tiny brush applied just to the damage will most likely blend very well and stop moisture from getting under the rest.

Hi - there is not much on the market that any of us have access to, but you have to read this months issue of Street Rodder magazine and an article involving "spray on chrome" ! This will really make you think for a while................ good luck, Steve

The HAMB has a thread about spray on chrome. They painted a Chevy panel truck. It looks pretty cool. I just searched for chrome paint. They call it spray on chrome.

Coupe35... I have used Krylon "Premium Original Chrome" , this says on the spray can resembles metal chrome, it comes in a spray can size of 227g , I got it from a Craft store here called Michaels not cheap, but I sprayed a small amount in the lid, after shaking the can VERY well and with a small brush touched the small blemish and it looks good , JMO..:)

In the old days you just found some silver finger nail polish. Got to stop it from corroding under there some how.
