Although I usually hang out over on the Early V8 forum, I'm over here to ask a question about a paint color that maybe some of you Model A folks would be able to help with. As I stated on the other forum, I've been reviewing colors of interest for my '40 PU resto-rod project and ran across a photo of this truck on the Flicker.com website. I'm interested in identifying the paint for the brown-colored truck. It's not a '40/41 color but seems familiar as an early color. So far, I can't find it on the Dupont or Paintref websites or using searches of images of early American vehicles. It may be a custom color but I was just wondering if anyone recognized it as a Model A era color or wanted to venture a guess? Better yet, does anyone recognize the truck and owner? It would be great if he/she was a Ford Barner and I could pose the question directly. Thanks -Ken
