I'm looking to find a good carb rebuilder. need to get mine running as best as possible. Tired of buying ones that guys claim" all rebuilt and test runs great." only to find they aren't any better than mine.

After numerous attempts of my own and by alleged expert professionals, I finally bit the bullet and bought a brand new one--actually two brand new ones.
Contact Howard Taylor in Oak Lawn, IL. He was Paul Moller's understudy and assistant for many years before Paul's passing. Howie does a limited number of carbs, but has seemingly unlimited ZenI-Q.

I'm not trying to drum up business as I have few original jets left but I have rebuilt over 2000 Zenith and Holley carburetors in the past years including double venturi style. I always guaranteed my carburetors and told buyers if they had a problem (1) I would fix it or (2) refund their money if this was their choice. I believe in using original jets if possible, they only get dirty not wear out. I size my jets by thousands as have found that even original jets vary in openings size. When carburetors are properly rebuilt there is no reason the builder should not guarantee his work.
