The Model T swap in Auburn is usually good for A parts.

The San Bernardino club has a meet in September at the Little League fields on Hwy 215 at the bottom of Cajon Pass. If you book it down 395 if should be about 4 hours for you.
Not sure what you have checked out in your area so I will throw this out. When I was working in Bishop for a few weeks I stopped in the NAPA store and the owner gave me a couple of names. There was a guy on Inga Rd in Benton that dabbles in Model A's.

Thanks for replies ..Didn't miss Bakersfield, bot a restored 31 grill shell wrapped in paper for $100. but looking for other good A swap meets in and around Calif ,Nev area this summer. located Eastern Sierras. Will attend Devore in September.
