The 41st annual Antique Nationals is coming June 5th at the Auto Club Raceway in Fontana, CA. Racing 1954 & older, show 1974 & older. Gates open at 8 a.m. Come out and enjoy!
 
That event and the Shell Hill Hillclimb were the first events were guys could run old Four Banger powered vehicles. Always enjoyed reading about then and dreaming about some day being there. I'm sure there will be photo coverage on the HAMB. If you are going have a great time!

Wish i was going to be there, but the salt is calling in August, If only they could speed the planes up & cut the cost down ?? Enjoy ,

Hey quickchange. Will you be entering a car at Bonneville or be a spectator? I will be there with our team again this year as well.

Thanks Jim. We have hit 436 MPH for our best speed yet. We would really like to run a back and forth run of at least 440 but 450 would be even better. This would have to be set at the FIA meet in September. We have ran 409, 401, 404,420, the last couple of years at the August meet and have won the Hot Rod Trophy two years in a row. Hope to see there Jim. Mark.

Hey Derek,
spoke to ron this am. he said that the salt engine (banger) 'blew up' on dyno at...6K:eek: ! OMG...those guys are serious/crazy!!
but, not to worry as the new backup will turn 7K :cool: ! must be nice , eh.
 
the trailer was moved today so I will have access to my coupe so I will be there with the skirted A. I will be leaving around 5:30am from sunland CA if anyone wants to drive together as a group we can meet up some where. we can go the 210 freeway it will be easy to keep up with me as my coupe will only be going around 50/55 mph
 
On the fence about going(kids) If yes, will probably see ya on the freeway model a man. Ill be on the 210 near the 605 in a grey phaeton around 6.30
 
We will be there passenger will be driving this year.

Hope to meet you this year at Bonneville. I came by your pits a few times last year but you guys looked waaaay too busy for me to interrupt.

Some times we have get thrashing in the pits but i am never to busy to meet a Model a er. Hope to see you there. Mark.
 
whats the weather forcast for tomorrow at the Antique Nationals? I have heard both, it will be nice and also it might rain. Hoping the guy that told me rain is wrong.


I just checked several web sites and all say only partly cloudy and in the 70's . this makes me very happy. see you there :0)
