Has anybody had dealings with them and are there insert bearings any good (for main and rods). Any help would be very helpful, Thank you all.

If you do a search you'll find a recent and lengthy thread regarding this company sharing many different opinions. I have a motor rebuilt by Antique Engine Rebuilding with the insert bearings. Although at this point there are very few miles on the rebuild, I am very satisfied with it. I've been to the shop and thought it appeared to be an organized, clean operation and found the owner very helpful when I had questions.

I have one one of Rich's insert engines in my sport coupe with about 1000 miles on it. WOW what an engine! It has more power than I would have ever imagined! I plan on buying one for my slant window in the fall for my winter project. Hes a great guy with a great product.

I use his insert rods and mains in all the inserted engines I build. I have never used one of his motors but hear good things.

As I posted before,I have had very good dealings with Rich. I ahve an engine with 8000 miles and it has always performed strong, doesn't leak, and doesn't use oil. I had some questions when I put the short block together and always got good support. I will tell you more after our 4,000 mile trip to Montana this summer.

I have an engine from Antique Engine and it has 56,000 miles and I still have the original set of points in it. It runs great. I have only changed the oil in it.
I have purchased one for my 1929 Town Sedan. I have not started it yet.

I also have had good results with Antique Engine Rebuilding. Having 4th motor built now. First one rebuilt mid 1980's and still going with about 46000 miles (babbit bearings)

I have the same comment as James Rogers. I have installed over 50 sets of his insert main bearings and have had good results.

Good Day!

I am very pleased with the hi compression, insert bearing, touring cam I purchased from AER in October for my Cabriolet.
