antique car polish

We used to use corn starch on a polishing rag, or on the Simonize wax itself to buff out the Simonize. It makes the job WAAAYYYYY easier.

+1

Didn't know you could even get it any longer.

The "hard" waxes give a great finish. Plan on a whole day and tired arms.

I did not know, either, that you could still get the yellow tin Simonize. I don't really care, either. I hated that stuff ! It did do a great job, though.
When you got tired of just waxing a square foot at a time, and did a whole fender, etc., you could barely get the stuff off. It just got too hard, swirls and all.

Was a fan of simonize fore years....the old man used it. It is harder to get these days. I'm a mother f... sorry I'll rephrase that, a "Mothers" man these days.

Come on lads.....a good days' work with Simoniz will build up your biceps; boost your self esteem an assure your neighbours that you're not to be messed with.

Tons of the stuff on Ebay.

MUTTON CLOTH....in the old days it was used by butchers for wrapping up carcases !

Try a soft white polishing cloth but the trick is.....DAMPEN THE CLOTH AND GET IT OFF PRONTO !
