I’m trying to assemble the anti-rattle springs on my brake rods and I’m finding that there’s not enough room to install the smaller spring on the e-brake rods because the balls seem too close together as compared to the picture in the Les Andrew’s book. The smaller spring interferes with the larger spring if I try to install it. It doesn’t seem to be an adjustment issue, because if I disconnect the e-brake rod from the cross shaft, the rod doesn’t move any further back to create more room between the balls. Any suggestions? Thanks!
