Another tire question-sorry

Will 7.5-16's tires fit on the original, I think, wide 5 rims for a 1938 half ton pick up. I would like to if they will fit, run them on the rear of the truck.thanks in advance

They will fit yes but you should use a wider rim.The standard wide 5's are 4".I have had 5 and 5.5" 16" wide 5's but they only have 4 scallops on the center hub so do not match the stock 36-39 Ford wheel.

I have had 7.00x16 Firestones on the back of my roadster which has 4" wide wheels.... no problems... the 7.50 in a Firestone is a skinnier tire then the 7.00 so it seems to me that it should work...

I also have 7.50-16 on the back of my Roadster with 4" wheel . No problems and doesn't look wrong in any way to me .

They'll work ok. I have run 7:50 on 4" rims forever with no problems.
