Another 1932 Model B Coupe Goes on the Road

I want to thank all the members of Ford Barn that helped me over the years to restore this car. I am embarrassed to say that it took me 29 years of collecting parts, cleaning rust, welding, painting and assembling this car. It was a basket case when I bought it and it had been moved twice before I bought the car. Each move resulted in a reduction of the parts that came off of the car when it was disassembled. I had the 4 cylinder engine rebuilt by a professional but I did everything else. The car was painted outside during that very short period here in Maine after a frost when there are no bugs and the days still get up to 65 F. I think it is a good six footer and plan to use it around town as a second car. It now has 325 miles on it. It is as close as you can get to a new 32 Ford. It drives tight and smooth with no squeaks or rattles. Now that I have Dave Rehor's book, I will be finding all the mistakes I made years earlier. Its all part of the fun. Thanks again, Ed

Your car is very tastefully done. I'd love to be in town when you drive down to the hardware store for that paper sack of 10 penny nails. Love Maine, too.

A Beautiful Job, you can be proud, and from a basket case you did very well; just like a new car; drive it and enjoy !! one of my very favorite years and models ..:)

And I thought 12 years on my first restoration (28 Buick) and 16 years on my latest and probably last, 35 Pickup, was a long time. Patience and perseverance pays off big time. Beautiful car.

Wow, nice job on the coupe!:D You guys make me feel better about the 6 years I've spent so far!

Keep V-8ing and 4-banging!

Hello Walt, I am in Steuben. Nice little town with a running 1924 T roadster and a 1934 roadster. There could be others out there. Whats not to like! Have a good holiday Walt, Ed

Now working on a basket case that has traveled to several homes over the last 40 years, I can truly appreciate your accomplishment. Well done!
