Anco wiper question- ‘46 Mercury
I have a replacement Anco wiper motor on my ‘46 Mercury (was in the car when I bought it in 1984). Year ago I got it working and checked it out on my ‘53 by just hooking it to the vacuum line, and it ran great. At that time, I found on the internet an Anco application chart that listed my wiper motor as the right one for ‘’42-48 Ford and Merc, plus the list of settings to use to vary arc.
Got my Merc running now, but the arc is a bit too small and the “home” position is backward I.e., blades stop in the “up” position instead of at the base of the windshield.
Does anyone have a copy of that Anco application chart, or can you tell me the “home” setting and the arc setting? I guess I goofed up and set it wrong.
