A fella posted here last year. He'd built a swamp truck from unusable A parts and pieces. Not exactly an Amphib, but useful for getting to the Gators (Choot 'em Elizabeth, Choot 'em).

Very nice looking jalopy swamp truck.
 
There is a photo of an AA trying to be amphibious. It looks like they failed:

From the photo, it looks like this Model AA (or more likely a GAZ AA) was not really meant to be amphibious!

Edit: Water aint too deep - Maybe they are just fixing the

When I was a kid you could still drive on the beach here in S Fl. A vehicle broke down or got stuck one time and was abandoned to the sea. All that was sticking above the sand at the water line was about half of the steering wheel. Always wondered what it was connected to when we would go by in our jeep. That jeep sure rusted out quick!
