American Pickers...

Just how would one get in touch with American Pickers?

Went to their website but there is no email contact that I could see or a phone number.

Thanks.

Pluck

i hope you people dont really think they are paying those prices for the stuff they buy on the show, those prices are just for entertainment purposes, the people making the series are paying those high prices not mike or frank lol

High prices? Could you point out one as an example?

I'd have to agree with ford1. The prices paid for the rusty worthless junk bicycles seem way out of line as well as 80% of the other stuff.

you want some examples for high prices? how about $75 for a totally rusted bycle frame, almost $6000 for a dodge business coupe, worth $2000 tops, if the stuff was worth as much as they have to sell it for there would be one of those shops on every corner, like starbucks coffe shops, its a fun show but nowhere is it near realality

Both the guys along with Rick Harrison (Pawn Stars) were on the Fox Business Network last night and they had some interesting observations on the economy. Mike explained that overpaying for something right off the bat generally opened the door to other items. One never has to worry about Model a guys overpaying for anything!

My tongue was firmly in my cheek when I typed that last sentence!

It's fun to watch.I can't believe all the stuff that most of the people have "collected" over the years.I always thought I would be the worlds biggest "junk man" ,if I had a place for it all.

There is a guy in the Fort Worth club who is going to be on American Pickers. They have already come, or will shortly come to go through his shop. The "accidental" finds are not so accidental. A month before filming, a person comes to the shop and has the owner sign a contract saying he would sell things. I'm just interested to see if they went in his "model A" shop.

I agree . it's just a show, them guys couldn't pay their expenses being 800 miles from home in that little truck and buying the way they buy. I been a junker for over forty years and had an Antique shop for 23, it's a tough racket. Thanks to living in our building and a pension check for food money we get by.

Do you plan to market that last line cast in bronze? :)
