Saw a 1940 221 flatty today that was in a a moonshine runner 40 Ford in central Georgia many years ago. The owner is an old timer had taken the engine out and saved it. It has 2 carbs and alum heads that have the letters S.A.E about 3/4 in high and also Los Angeles cast into each head. I didn't have my camera to take a photo but will next time. Anyone know anything about these heads?
