Alu 24 stud heads

I have a set of c91a heads which I guess would be 1939 vintage. The water inlet is thin and both heads have what appears to be threads on the outside of the water inlet. maybe to help hold the hose on better. Also have a what I believe to be HC set C7RA heads.

81T heads were 5.9:1, 83-85cc
81A heads were 6.2:1 and available in cast or aluminum. Compression was the same.79-81cc
81AS heads were 7.5:1, 60-62cc
99AS heads were 7.1:1, 65-67cc

I was curious to see what my cast iron C7RA-A heads were in terms of volume. Google brought me tho this Barn thread. In post #14, it lists the volume as 69.5 - 70 cc’s with a CR of 7.2 with a 3 3/16” bore.

The “-B” suffix indicates aluminum. The cast iron ones are “-A” suffix.

Looks like my father had 2 NOS aluminum sets. One are still in the box, the other he installed on his convertible. @Kube, just to clarify, are these the heads that are near impossible to find? Or were you referring to a different set?
