Powermaster 82116 PowerGEN Alternator, 6 Volt Positive Ground, GMi created a thread the other day that is related. let us know if you find one, IME, they are as rare as hen's teeth. although it would seem as though it would be a popular item for the vintage car crowd.
i was looking at this one for a project i'm working on...

Huey, the one that I was looking at on Speedway Motors was # 82026 and then I would
have to change the pulley from 5/8 to 3/8. What do you think.
I'm pretty new to the V8 site. So, if there is a better place to get one, I would sure appreciate the input. Thanks Tom...
The E.J. Whitney Company in Fullerton, CA sells a 6V positive ground 40 amp alternator in an OEM generator housing. https://www.ejwhitneyco.com/automotive.html
Its a tad pricey, but you never have to worry about dim lights and it looks like it belongs on a vintage Ford engine. I’ve had the Whitney alternator on the Tonner for several years. At the time I bought mine you had to provide a core.
My works just fine with the 6 volt positive ground alternator
