Can any one here that has an 6 Volt Alternator on a 1930 Model A give me some help pls. I got one to put on but not sure of the wiring.. I'm not 100% sure lets say … Pictures of the back of the Alternator installed would be a big help. I'm held up at the moment and don't want to quess and fry anything.

Thanks again ...

I will post pics of what I have done since my water pump broke.

Thanks for the info .... but that did not help me ... That looked like more of a Science project... :p

I went ahead and Connected 2 wires to the back of the Alternator to the one terminal... I tried starting the car... No luck … I messed something up I'm sure...

Anyone have any pics of there motor / Alternator they can post .. im still serching forms to see if i can find ..

I'm not certain how much help this will be but you asked for a photo from the rear of a 6-volt alternator. This is a 6-volt negative-ground alternator obtained from Nu-Rex that has provided very satisfactory service. I apologize for the slightly-out-of-focus photo (it's early in the morning out here).

Thanks that did help.. that is what I needed. I did hook it up like that, but cant get the car to start. Still trouble shooting it. I think im missing a spring someplace but cant seem to find one or where it would go.

Also is there a spring that I'm missing for my gas pedal as it seems to not come back up when I press it down.
