I got this gasket for our fire truck because we are in the process of changing the clutch and transmission back to the multi disc clutch and transmission setup as original , While we have the motor out we are going to put new gasket on motor ,My question is using this gasket set below should I use sealer on gaskets if so which gaskets and type sealer .Also recommendations on torqueing head gasket Part number 7780 Thanks Billy

COPPER ENGINE GASKET SET WITH COPPER HEAD GASKET

Same gasket applications as (# 7760) except the following are copper gaskets as original with WHITE material in the middle. Water Inlet, Water Outlet, Exhaust Manifold, Carburetor, and Oil Drain Plug.

We reseat engines all the time even if they don't leak, and usually at the same time we clean and repaint all the tin and external components as well as the block. The copper gaskets for the water outlets, carb, manifolds etc are nice and I always use them. (I never broke a water neck outlet using a copper outlet gasket)Install the gaskets dry as silicone is unsightly and not needed except on certain but not all areas of the pan and rear cam gasket. Clean the old gaskets off completly and make sure the mating surfaces are oil free.
Your engine will look like new if you go the full route with paint. Here is a link that may help you with the pan.
