In the mid 80's in my small town, an old fella had just passed away and his family somehow found out I had a tow truck and "dabbled in precious metals". They said they had some junkers to be removed to clean up the property.
I go take a look, its all old stock cars pushed off the bank into a ravine, all piled up on one another. late 40's coupes on top, and the deeper you look the older they get. prolly about 12 or 15 cars, the bottom ones half buried in dirt.
Heck yeah I'll take em I say, but I was working full time, and for whatever reason I did not get back there for about a month and they were all gone. No problem I thought, they will be at the local scrap yard, my friend Marv, and I'll get what I want.
Nope, they musta got hauled to the big city, never saw them again. My last chance at a 32 3w... dreaming...
