Bought this at Hershey and was wondering how to tell if it’s an original?

Wish I could show you a pic. All the original ones I have seen (and own) have a clamping screw. Mounted to the bottom of the opening that fits over the carb air intake. There is a split in the aluminum with two ears molded into each side of the split for the tightening screw.
