To much air passing the window felts on the 54..Everything has been replaced. The glass is new but same thickness as the old one. Anyone got a soloution. it is annoying right next to my ear..thanks for any ideas..Jim

I feel your pain! I have the same issue. I assume you replaced not only the window felts but, the window run channels as well. When I replaced my window run channels, I did the drivers door first. I stuffed the run channel up into the window frame and attached it, then installed my window mechanisms and glass. I didn't like the fit but I left it alone. The upper rear corner of the glass doesn't seat properly into the run channel. The run channel has too much of a 90* angle and that allows air to pass through the gap, annoying my left ear!

On the pass side, I tried something different. I bent the run channel around the individual window. Then attached the channel to the window frame. Then installed mechanisms and glass. Guess what? No wind noise on that side! Lesson being, bend your run channel around the glass first!

The only pic I have is where I bent it around the glass on the rear quarter window, but you get the idea.......
