Air Conditioning in a 1961 Tbird Conv.

I am going to install an A/C unit in my 1961 T/bird. There are several different units, but I keep coming back to the CLASSIC AIR unit. Has I LIKE THE TWO SEPERATE HEAT & AIR UNITS ON THIS SETUP.anyone had any expearience installing one of these. I would like to know the pro's and con's. I do not have air in the car now. I want to use an original air control panel on the dash.

I would look for a stock 61 - 63 under dash unit out of a parts car. When operating properly you can hang meat in the cars (R-12) and with 134 just a little less efficient. Air comes out the control and at your feet. Complex but really engineered well.
