WANTED: wanted to find a air compresser that you can hook-up to the vacuum of the car to fill a tire and other things.Must be model a era. And ORIGINAL and in original pack if possable and in working order. Wanted to be able to use on my 31 tudor sedan. If you have one you can e-mail me at modelasuzzie@gmail.com. How can you run an air compressor on vacuum? Do you mean using the compression from the engine? I've seen these kits from the 30s I even had one with Ford script on the gauge. You merely take out a plug and replace it with a nipple to which is attached a length of tubing with an air nozzle on the end. It seems you would get a little fuel in the tire,though.
 
I pmd to say much the same as Dave, Suzie. If I can sneak a general discussion question into this thread: Does anyone know how much pressure could theoretically develop in the exhaust "circuit" (as a steady pressure with the spark plug unhooked)?
