Not real sure about the air cleaner, but maybe looks like part of an aftermarket kit to use two 4 bbls. on a mid 50's T-Bird engine with a supercharger.

If you have any '57 T-Bird or mid 50's Ford 4 bbl carbs, I would be interested in making an offer, depending on what you have. Thanks.

My first thought is British car. Dual side drafts with a port facing down for a heat pipe around the manifold.

Thanks for all the input, I don't have a measurement as I haven't got all the parts yet, I'm thinking 1957 T-bird Dual Quad blower air cleaner since it was in with all the other 1957 T-bird stuff.

I'll let you know what I find for carbs, it may take a while as I'm trying to finalize the deal on all the parts.

Just to let you know, that 57 T-bird came with a single quad, dual quads, Paxton supercharger, but not a dual quad blower/supercharger.

I realize that, but there were some after market parts made for a 2 x 4 barrel setup using a supercharger.

I have one of these on my '57 Ford but do not believe that was what it was made for. The spacing is wrong for a stock Ford 2x4 intake. Also the bowls are too shallow to go over Holley 4000 carbs (tea pot). Spacing on the Edelbrock fm257 is wrong but the fm255 is close. The closest to fitting is the Fenton 2x4 that I used. I redrilled the 5/16 mounting holes in the carb base to 3/8 and this gave enough wiggle room for the bonnet to fit over the carbs, Stromberg 4v in this case but wcfb would work. This set up is too tall to fit under the hood of a Thunderbird, nor will it fit under a stock '57 passenger hood. ('54,5,6 or truck would be OK)
