Hey guys just jumped in sister to run to the drug store and noticed my horn was not working.....worked on Saturday, is there something simple I should check

Also check the two motor terminals for power and ground when the horn button is pushed. Most horn problems are on the ground side.
 
Happened to me just a while ago. I had to clean the commutator. There was a recent article on horn maintenance in the March/April 2015 Restorer is that helps.
 
Thanks guys, after I made the original post last night I also noticed that the light switch was not working properly, again it was fine on Saturday.

It always clicked into place for each headlight setting, now it seems to be springy, the lights go on but the switch won't lock into place.

Not sure what happened between Saturday and yesterday evening.... I'm guessing the two things are related
