After market temp gauge

I was trying to add a second temp gauge in the other water pump for redundancy. I cannot seem to find one where the bulb seals tight in the water pump against the threaded fitting.

Is there an adapter I'm missing or is there a gauge someone has found to work best?

Also what is the best option for thermostats? I was doing some reading and realized I dont have any.

I put two gauges in a 35 coupe. The nut wasn't long enough to get bulb sealed. I split a copper washer slipped it over the line between bulb and nut was enough to tighten and stop leak. Thermostats I found a few originals on ebay that had an attached tube for the clamp. This was on a 221 pump in head engine.

I have used this one for several vehicles. It came with several brass adapters that threaded into the block on a Dodge Flathead. I also used the bulb and capillary from it to attach to the original temp gauge using an ice bath and carper tubing for splices. Cost $30 on Amazon

I'm using the same one but with white face. The issue I had was the bulb wouldn't seal against the brass fitting. The washer trick was all it needed.
