After 60 years!

Hey, that's my stomping grounds! I recognize Dan coming out of the smoke cloud -- great mechanic and good guy to talk to. I bought my sport coupe from Steve and Phil. Cool!

Benson, thanks for posting this. I've been tossing around the idea of putting a coupe quarter window and top section on my '31 CCPU to stretch it as I am 6'4". Even though it's mostly coupe, it kinda gives me a little idea of what it might look like. Thanks again. Luke

Why not go whole hog?

Wonder who's this is?

I think, i took lots of pictures of this at the williamsburg meet a few years ago! Would love to build one.

Guys,

That is my coupe/truck that I drug back from Montana in pieces last October. It was in barn, but the barn had fallen in around the coupe and the enire front sheetmetal was gone, hood, grill shell, headlight bar etc. The doors were also missing, BUT the engine turned over.

I lubed the cyclinders with WD-40 so the smoke show is a little more dramatic. The guys at Bert's Model A, Steve and his crew did a great job of bringing this car back to life after 60 years in barn/fallen down barn.

I got to drive it around my farm today and it was a blast. It runs so good and shifts great. It only has little smoke that shoud clear once I drive it some more and the rings seat.

It is a really neat little coupe/truck that I would love to keep, but most likely it will be in classifieds soon.

Maybe one of you guys will be the new lucky owner???

Here are some pictures of it when I drug it home from Montana.

I will get some pictures and video uploaed next week of it.

Thanks for looking,

Tex
