I'm going to put in new interior into my '34 Fordor soon.
Does Acostishield insulation make that big of a difference?
Anybody use/install it?
Is it as easy as Mac and LB say it is to install?

Cheers!

I think you'll be hapy with it...in my '59-other brnd PU which just had a rubber floor mat, I put n Dynomat, under the seat up to the top on the insde of the fire wall, best as I could get it.

Sure did quiet it down, from engine noises to road noises, plus my foot didn't gte hot anymore when leaning on the trans tunnel.

I'd expect (or want) the same results from accuostishield.

I went direct to Quiet Ride Solutions in Stockton, CA and bought both the Accoustishield Kit and Firewall Cover for my 40 Tonner Truck. The kit comes with precut pieces of accoustishield, spray on glue and directions. The kit also include strips of a sound deadening material that go in the door, on the floor and the back of the cab that eliminate the road vibration noise. I can recommend this product. It is easy to install and worth the investment.

We just finished putting Acoustishield in a 31 Town sedan Model A and it made a huge difference. It was purchased as a kit from LeBaron Bonney and all the pieces were pre cut. The only place we didn't use it was the roof as it would have to go under the topping and that was already on. With new upholstery and Acoustishield you can carry on a pleasant conversation now while travelling. Well worth it in my opinion.
