Started the thread about the 1947mercury not moving.
I believe I have located the problem, I ordered the wrong clutch and it got installed 11” vs 10”. I need to remove the clutch, can the oil pan be dropped 1 1/2 or 2 inches so I can get at the bolts to remove the clutch. Prefer not to pull engine, but whatever will be will be. Transmission is out. Anyone ever done this? Thanks.
