accessory full wheel covers

Just curious, how rare are these accessory full wheel covers and is there any chance in finding a set in decent condition today? I think Ford called them rustless wheel covers in the accessories brochure. These look to be for '41.

Thanks.

Tony, What you have pictured is a regular issue 1941 Ford Hubcap, together with the Accessory Inner Dress Rims that were introduced by Ford to dress up the 1940 Fords. They are also used on 1941 and later Fords. These Rims were spotted at a Swap Meet a number of years ago. They are held in by the Hubcap. I hope that this answers your question. You just need to find a set of these Trim Rims.

They actually snap on themselves with four teeth through the wheel vents. But the hubcap should hold them on even tighter. They will scratch your wheels, so know that going into it.

I just bought a nice set on ebay for my 46 coupe
