Accelerator Pedal Pad Lock Washer

Havy you tried contacting some of the larger impliment companies as Caterpiller, John Deere, Case etc to see just what kind of bolts/lock washers they have?

I know one time I had to use a special Model A bolt (fine thread) to fix a John Deer Harvester just so I could keep harvesting!

Might be worth your while to email or call these companies just to see instead of beating our heads against the wall.

Best educated guess...

If they / you transpose 37/64" too 31/64" it's about the correct size for
the parts I measured...throttle assembles, starter pushrods and caps.
 
I am posting a picture of a throttle assy and cap that has a washer on it. Anyone seen anything like this before?

I've seen various designs for the knurling on washers, but never one like this.

That might be a $900 ebay item.:D

So, what is the outside diameter of the washer?

Both my 1928 and 1931 Parts Price List show the same size, and the 1931 book lists 3 of the part number with a different suffix.

Interesting...I was viewing all of mine today and I see that the later versions do not have the "forged keeper" to hold the lock washer in place...however all the rest of the versions I have do as seen in Rusty's photo.

I wonder when that feature was deleted?

Ahhhhhh...another research project for someone who wants to spend $15.00 per Part Release to determine when the "forged keeper" on this assembly was deleted.

So obviously Dudley...what would then be the correct part number for this application if it is not A-22217? Is it listed in the Part's Price List?
