About to order shocks, suggestions?

For a driver, the modern shocks work well and are less expensive. The original style shocks do work well and are adjustable. Your money, your choice.

After waiting for years and years for the Stipe shock, I gave up. I heard about Rotoshims from a fellow local club member and decided to purchase. I am very pleased with the performance. Here is a link. Check out their technical pitch. https://rotoshim.com/overview

Bill Stipe just posted here a few days ago. I think you can find his post easily. He had information about the business. Bill

I don't see a post from Bill Stipe since 6/24?

I wonder if the current Houdaille repro shocks (Bratton's & Snyders) are in fact somewhat better than the original Houdaille units? By better I mean manufactured to closer tolerances with perhaps fewer parts which might equate to longer life? I'd like to see inside the newer repro units and see how they are put together. I suspect the design of these new shocks differs from the originals. Would this be for ease/economy of manufacture or a bit of a modern redesign? Just curious I guess. I've heard good things about both of the current repros.

Yes they appear to make them in batches. Same note from when I ordered, still received them with in about 6 weeks. You can email them to see if they are about to make a production run.
