AA Muffler & tailpipe

A couple I have are cheap aftermarket items that got hung on trucks that were still working. They do not sound right, seem very restrictive, and look like a straight tube with no taper. The AAs all came with the same Model A mufflers, but as they wore out the cheap replacement went on.

There should be a hole in the right hand frame rail where the clamp was located.

IIRC the clamp has been reproduced - and is shown in the Service Bulletins (at least for the 1930-31 trucks)

It would be a fairly simple matter to repop a replacement for one's self based on the Service Bulletin pix.
