BTW, the NY Times is one of the very few newspapers that has an automotive section with interesting original articles, as opposed to rehashed press releases and filler.

I've been following his blog site for quite some time now. Very interesting. he's our kind of guy.

I have been reading the site since day 2... I'm a little slow :-) Anyways, it is great stuff, glad to see it getting some press time and once I finish the Huckster I may be in the mood to drive her all the time as well.

I'd love to do that, but life in the 2000s is just too demanding. I go on all of our club's tours but I'm usually glad to get home.

“People love seeing the car,” he said. “Hey, these cars deserve to be driven,” he added. “They really deserve to be on the road.”

Damn right, they got seniority at least.

He works for Hagerty Insurance and they won't insure him.

What the hell does that have to do with anything pertaining to the article? He's using his car as daily transportation, far as I know no 'collector car policy' will allow that.

Back on topic, it's good to see his site get some mainstream press. We need more of that.

" mushy 4 wheel mechanical brakes??" It says he did a brake job, but apparently not very well. Mushy brakes means there's a bent brake rod, un centered shoe or not all wheels have been equalized. But, other than perpetuating the rumor about bad mechanical brakes, its good to see people brought to awareness that a Model A is still a practical car.
