A Roadster Assembly Help.

Folks,

It has been a while since my 1931 model A roadster was taken apart and pieces were missing when I first got it. I think I have rounded up everything it needed and now am ready to put it together. Does anyone have the correct steps for reinstalling the cowl/gas tank, the dashboard, dash cap/rail, and windshield posts? I can generally see how they go together but what is the correct order? For example when do you put in the welting? Does the dash cap go on before the windshield posts? If someone had the proper order of assembly with pictures that would be great! I have searched quite a bit but haven't found anything on this yet. Any help appreciated!

Get Les Andrew's books. Many Model A parts books show some details.

I don't recall which book had it, but it might be the book Ford put out in the 50's (I think) about restoring the Model A. It listed the steps done along the assembly line. I'm thinking about 40 steps were listed, and this might help answer your question.

Also, I wonder if Marco's site has some pictures of his assembly during his Roadster restoration?
