I bought an AA this motor and transmission came with it. I was told it was aa motor and aa transmission

Would that number be stamped in the block? It is in the top middle of the block is that right?

I see it above the water pipe there. Ok I'll get it today when I head to the shop. Thanks for asking about it

Maybe it's an A motor? Sorry I'm new to this. Guy that gave it to me with my AA truck purchase said it was an aa motor and transmission.
