Seen on eBay, a letter written by Henry Ford in 1933.

I am impressed with the clear, concise and economical writing style. In my view this is business communication at near it's best.

This letter is in complete contrast to what today passes for communication, where so-called business colleges actually teach their students how to 'mangulate' language, distort clarity and confuse the reader by the 'verbalisation' of cluttered thought, unclear thinking and the almost unreadable content of some letters and emails.

In my home state of New South Wales (OZ) there have been calls made recently for grammar to once again be taught in schools. Please bring it on, my eyes and my mind are tired of being tested by the nonsense that is routinely sent to me. Sometimes I feel like marking it as would a teacher, then sending it back.

By-the-way, the news on the new 1933 Ford is good, it's Ford's best car yet, so you'd better get one before they're all sold.
