Looks like someone tried installed bracket for B fuel pump.
Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks, Jorgen

Now THAT'S interesting,......is the "pad" for the fuel pump cast on the block?
OR was it a hole that some one tried to make do...?

The owner is a friend so I only have the picture.
What I can see in the picture is not cast together with the block, so not part of the block.
If you zoom the image, it appears that the "pad" is attached with 4 screws.
The cylinder head is from a B engine.

It would be interesting to know if it is cast in,or if it is just a patch where a rod came through the side.

Do you have any more pictures? Is this engine running a welder? Air compressor? Generator? Buzzsaw? It must have been used in wintertime, what with the priming cup added on.

Water pump for fire extinguisher.
Well, I need to see it in person so I can answer your questions better and with more pictures.

Thanks, Jorgen

Interesting! Looks like it used some of the water it was pumping for cooling, don't see a radiator.
