94 Carb Model H

Can anyone help identify this 94 carb? It has the Ford script, but the only identification is an "H" on the throttle pump column. Is this a Holley replacement? This picture is the middle section. Not your ordinary 94. The standard float setting is causing the carb to flood. Any guidance particularly on the float setting would be appreciated.

gears,
The H in the area you described indicates HOLLEY. I'm thinking the flooding situation might be more than the float level. Anyway with the air horn inverted the
float setting should be 1.350 over the top of the float ( with no air horn to bowl gasket)

I've got an Airtex E8011 going through a Gator pressure regulator and it's taking over 2 minutes for the pump to switch to bypass mode. Therefore, I concluded that the float wasn't closing the float valve.

I am nearly certain that body is post '48. Of course it'll function quite fine on pre '48 as well.

On the opposite side of the bowl from the pump well side, there should be numbers/letters cast on the bowl that will help identify the model year/s the carb was made for.

91-99A was for '39 to '41 221 Flathead V8
21-99 was for '42 221 Flathead V8
59A was for '46 to '48 221 Flathead V8
8BA was for '49 to '51 Flathead V8
EAB was for '52 and '53 Flathead V8
EBU was for '54 239 Y-Block OHV V8
ECG was for '55 and '56 272 Y-Block OHV V8

is the gas going down the carb throat before the pump shuts off?? or is it draining down overnight? power valve in bottom of float bowl could be leaking

The Lincoln (or Ford, of course) prefix numbers were cast on the driver's side of the bowl. The block letter H or the script F on the area housing the accelerator pump indicated the actual manufacturer of that carb, Ford or Holley.
