I put some links on your other thread. I can offer that if you have glass, have someone hold it in place then hold up the channel for measurement. Shorten it just enough to not hit the end channels ( after sliding back also ). Then put it on the glass ( mocked up in the car, with the regulator installed also ) Mark where it will need to be on the glass, remove and install channel to glass. I know, not much room, and the slide back lower post and stop screw hole of Vintique channels are off too. Makes it a *****, That's where the other links come in handy. Make sure that part ( regulator and channel ) work together on the bench first. Hope some of this helps, good luck, you will get it.
