8BA spark plugs

Does anyone out there know the difference between Champion H10 and H11 plugs? The literature says use H10, but the engine had H11's in it from way way back.

As jdl stated, the 11's are hotter. Most likely, a previous owner upped from the H10's due to some minor oil fouling. Typical band-aid approach.:D

Our 46 with 48,000 original miles on it burns/leaks about a quart every 800 miles. Not too bad I think. I use Champion H-12's and they stay a nice brown color. So, not really a "typical band-aid" approach as Hazel thinks, just making adjustments to keep the old girl starting/running just great. Can't rebuild your engine everytime she starts to burn a little.
