I am selling my complete running setup out of my shoebox ford. I bought this manifold new in 1992 and have been running it since.
It is a SHARP manifold that was polished some years ago but still looks good and 3 Ford 94 Carburetors.
The carburetors have all been set up properly. The carburetors were originally bought from Patrick's Antique Cars in Casa Grande sometime in the mid 90's and have the gold chromate finish to them, although a little faded. I used Charlie Price's kit from Vintage Speed for the two outer carburetors. They are new aluminum bases with no idle circuits and blocked off power valves. The bases include special 12 degree secondary throttle plates machined and lapped to the body so no air goes through when closed. The center base has the the new shaft and 5 degree plates. The outer carburetors have #41 jets and the center has #47 jets in them for the high altitude that I am at. You might have to change them for you particular set up. The package will come with stainless steel ball bearing linkage you see in the picture and the air cleaners. I was running this setup on my 239 + .040" engine with no major issues. Idles nice and the response is great.
Since I have i been running this set up for almost 20 years, I have made some modifications on the manifold and carburetors over the years. I have a vacuum nipple on the right side of the manifold to take a vacuum reading. You would need to drill one on the opposite side to get a true value. I did try to run an under intake PCV system with failed results but there are three holes under the intake that have brass pipe plugs. I also have to drill an additional hole where there was not one to bolt the intake to the engine block. There are no cracks or broken off pieces. Some of the carburetors top screws were not holding as good as I would like so I cut down a couple nuts and added them to the bottom of the screws to make sure there were no leaks. The outside carburetors also have no choke mechanisms.
Which leads me to the next point. These carburetors do not leak. They do not leave stains on the polished intake. Rest assure you are buying and bolt and go set up.
What you are buying is the Intake Manifold, the Carburetors, the Linkage, the Air Cleaners. What is not included is the rear breather (I do have a finned cover plate for it), the alternator / bracket assembly, road draft tube or 4 degree plates under the carburetors (I need them for my next setup)
The videos below are from before I rebuilt the motor.
