Just got done working in a friends 37 ton and a half truck. It wouldn't run at all, so he thought carb issue, I went through the carb just to check it out and all seemed fine.
I told him to pick up a new condenser and we put it on( still using the 59 carb I loaned him) and it started and ran good.
So we swapped back to the 8BA carb and it idled great, throttle response was great.
I left him, and he took it in a test drive and called me. Said it had no get up and go, and he went up a hill and it wouldn't go over 40, and just no power.
Accelerator pump is leather type and working good.
Only thing I noticed was every time he punched the gas I noticed air bubbles in the glass fuel bowl. Is this normal?
