8BA intake crack

Would you run with this intake ?
Fan pulley stud into casting has crack, just noticed after it was cleaned and painted ofcourse.
Maybe ok ... are these intakes prone for this crack type location/stress ?
Any advise would be welcomed.

(background - intake removed from running F2, after getting back a beauitiful carb rebuild from Ken Isidor. Thought i would pull and clean it up
before mounting that trophy carb. back on.)

any crack can be fixed by any certified welder, if done right it will be as good as new, and if welded right you can clean up the weld and you will never see it, but those manifolds are pretty easy to come by at most swap meets, i think you could find one on here if you ask
 
I would worry more about the lip thats broken off than that crack lol. Run it. ken ct.

I would use it as is and it will work while you find a good one. The broken side casting is just to help align the genny and once tightened it won't move. Plenty out there so post in the wanted section for a good one.
