72 years ago today!

Those hero's of 'D-Day' would roll over in their graves if they could see the American flag being burned and the Mexican flay being waved in today's America....

The Mexican's were on our side, they sacrificed folk for our freedom same as the Native American's.
I don't think any flag should be burnt, part of our freedom is the right to fly our flags in our countries be they Mexican, British, Australian, New Zealand, American, Polish etc. All these countries combined to get rid of the Nazi bastards. That's a pretty strong bond.
I thank all that fort for my freedom.
Martin.

What Rich Bell, "Barnstuf" didn't say was he was 18 when he landed in the 2nd wave at Omaha Beach. He was severely wounded twice, received 2 purple hearts, and after that was reassigned to an aircraft wing. Rich is very active member of the EV8 and Model A clubs on the Cape, and has the same Model A coupe since 1947. He is a great guy to know, and wonderful resource on anything related to Model A's.

I don't think I ever met a true Hero/ veteran who ever boasted of his war time experience.
Some of the most humble people you will ever meet. One of my best friends was in Vietnam, I've known him for almost thirty years and have only heard him utter a couple of sentences of his experience.
Thank you Jack!

It is the reality of what the hero's have been through that they don't want to talk about and forget, we will never forget the sacrifices they made.
