70 and sunny in the middle of February here in northern Illinois! Too nice to keep the top up. Long weekend for me and I've been driving the snot out of the Merc.

Actually a very good story. Friend bought 15 years ago, all apart. He just finished last year. Did all the work himself. Has a book of pics with every milestone. Car is very cool and he drives it everywhere.

Here's better pic with the proud owner.

We are both hopin to drive down to race of gentlemen this summer -Lil over 3 hour drive each way.

Well lucky you folk . Down under we have 10 days left of a calendar summer . Cold wet and miserable for 3 months . Well ok in Our part of NZ we have had a few relapses for a few days of sun but it never got over 77F when we should have seen months of over 85F . Rain and wind. Went to the east coast in the old ford for 5 days and they were in a drought with constant sun . We may melt when we come over to the US in June for the roadster show.

Drove my 1937 Ford De Luxe Fordor yesterday.

T.R.O.G. would be a perfect setting for that car. It has the look.

We could use a little more of that global warming here in the Pacific NW right now.
