Why can I only get 5 oz. of 600 wt. in the sector housing? It should hold 7 3/4 oz. I heated it so it's not too stiff.

Maybe it still has some oil in it. Or, is this a fresh rebuild?
With the front axle on jack stands crank the steering side to side and try to fill some more. My 7 tooth takes a long time to fill.

I think with 600 wht. oil it takes some patience...I finaly got it filled but when I thought it was full ...it wasn't...I added a zerk fitting in upper bushing so it could be greased...I don't think it gets oil because it is above oil level...
