6volt gauges

Here in Australia we have a local manufacturer who makes the best elect stuff for caravans and trailers etc,BUT also gauges, I just bought a dual water temp and oil temp gauge and senders,
it needs 6v to work and I have just set it up on my 33 that is still 6v and pos earth,it works a treat.

It's Redarc isn't it Lawrie? The gauge is $239 from this source. It operates on 6-16v and appears to display degrees C, not F.

Degrees C would be correct as is whats normally used Down Under. Australia & NZ.
The only reference for degrees F is in the old Fords for me.

A dual water temp gauge would be ideal, I wonder if Classic Instruments could make a mechanical version?

Some twin cylinder snowmobiles had dual temperature gauges. Most of them read exhaust temperature (which is too high), but I seem to remember some that read coolant temperature. If I were looking for some, I'd start with old Arctic Cats.
